Rock & Roll Hall names 2023 finalists

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced its 14 nominees for 2023. It's a group that spans genres — Missy Elliott, Willie Nelson, Kate Bush and Iron Maiden are nominated along with Cyndi Lauper, Soundgarden, Sheryl Crow and George Michael. The rest of those in line are Rage Against the Machine, The Spinners, A Tribe Called Quest, The White Stripes, Warren Zevon and Joy Division/new Order. Artists must have released their first commercial recording at least 25 years before they're eligible for induction. Inductees will be announced in May.
