Lines solid as u11 N'stars (1) draw two

It was a hot one as The Owen Sound Mackinnon Plumbing Heating North Stars under-11 girls field lacrosse team travelled to Halton Hills for their games this past weekend. Both intensely competed games ended in a draw. The first game saw the girls playing Oshawa, ending in a 5-5 tie. N'stars goals were scored by Briar Mccoubrey (2), Olyvia Wagner (2) and a single by Reese Harvey. Picking up a couple of assists was Keeva Fox. The second game was a 4-4 tie against Kitchener-waterloo with goals for Owen Sound by Quinn Norton (2), Lyla Doyle and Briar Mccoubrey. Each game saw stellar goaltending by Harper Lines. The team is next in action on July 10 in Kawartha.
