Ferguson soars with a scoring touch

The Owen Sound Sunbelt Rentals North Stars under-11 (2) girls field lacrosse team came out strong with a 4-4 tie against Toronto Beaches this past weekend. Adele Ferguson netted a pair of goals along with singles from Avery Brooks and Sophie Burnett-scott. As the sun heated up so did the North Stars, with a big 7-4 win against Burlington (2). A pair of goals from Hana Carr and Adele Ferguson, singles from Molly Richardson, Avery Brooks and Isla Mcgregor. Kyla Johnson helped shut the door in net for both games. The North Stars will enjoy Canada Day weekend off and will return to action in Kawartha on July 10.
