Police investigating fatal collision at Springmount Saturday

A 77-year-old Georgian Bluffs woman is dead after a collision in Springmount Saturday.

Grey Bruce OPP identified the victim as Loraine Newman, who was one of the drivers involved in the crash. She was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead, a police news release said.

Police were called about 1:14 p.m. to the collision at the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 6 in Springmount. Inter Township Fire Department and Grey County Emergency Medical Services also responded.
